The Florida College System Chancellor wants to notify our students of security concerns involving a group of individuals that have been targeting students, including students with disabilities, to obtain money at Florida colleges across the state.
These scammers are using similar methods to approach students in person, such as acting as if they need help, asking students to transport them to another location, and convincing them to withdraw funds.
Anyone approached is this manner needs to contact their local Law Enforcement immediately to investigate and notify the NFC Director of Security.
